Terms of Service

Zephr indexes airworthiness directives published by civil aviation authorities and lets you search them, track compliance per aircraft, set alerts and export reports. By creating an account or using Zephr you agree to these terms.

Airworthiness decisions remain yours.Zephr is a search and tracking layer over the authorities' own publications. Directives can be revised, superseded or published after our last daily check, and automated matching by make and model can miss or over-include a directive.

Before acting on any directive, confirm it against the issuing authority's official document, which each record links to. Zephr does not replace your certified maintenance program, your approved data or the judgement of appropriately licensed personnel.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything done under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it current. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. Prices are listed on the pricing page and exclude taxes where applicable.

The Pro plan includes a 14-day free trial, once per customer. If you cancel, your plan returns to Free at the end of the period you paid for, and your data stays.

If a payment fails, you keep full access for a 7-day grace period. After that the workspace becomes read-only until the balance is paid: nothing is deleted. Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated by Stripe.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download or resell the catalog, or use it to build a competing service.
• Share accounts beyond the seats your plan includes.
• Probe, overload or bypass the security, rate limits or plan limits of the service.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights or contains malware.
• Use Zephr to harass anyone or to misrepresent a directive's status to a third party.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, after notice where practical.

You own what you put into Zephr: aircraft records, compliance history, notes and files. You give us the permission we need to host, process and display it to provide the service to you and the people you share it with. You can export or delete it at any time.

Directive texts belong to the authorities that publish them. The Zephr software, design, indexing and derived data (such as applicability matching and cross-authority equivalents) belong to us. These terms do not transfer any of it to you beyond the right to use the service.

We work to keep Zephr available and the catalog current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every authority portal will be reachable every day. We may change features; if a change materially reduces a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of accuracy, completeness and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can close your account at any time. We may close it for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. After closure you can ask for an export of your data for 30 days.
